In todays article we will be discussing how to go about to remove Factory Reset Protection(FRP) on your Tecno mobile phone. You might have noticed that when you try to get access to your device after performing a hard reset, you are asked to verify your google account which in this case is hard to do but do not worry as we will be using a special tool called unlock tool to go about this situation in order for you to get full access of your phone. Without further ado, let us go ahead and check out some of the various methods that you can choose to bypass FRP on your device.
METHOD 1
- When trying to access your Tecno device, you will be directed to a page such as illustrated below where you are asked to verify your google account.
2. In this case, power off your device and open unlock tool on your laptop or PC. Click on “MEDIATEK” and tick the checkbox that says “custom preloader” as indicated in the image below.
3. Thereafter, select the “Boot device” option.
4. On your Tecno mobile phone, press and hold volume up and volume down altogether then insert connect your USB cable via your laptop or PC.
5. After doing so, you should be able to get a dialogue displayed on your laptop or PC screen just as the one indicated in the image below.
6. Afterwqards, select “Erase FRP” option and patiently wait for the process to run all the way through 100% so as to be successful.
7. After a successful operation, you can remove the USB cable and power on your device and Just as before, you will be directed to a page where you are asked to verify your google account but this time round tap on the “skip” option on the bottom left of your device’s screen.
8. Accept the google terms of service and on the next page, you can choose whether or not to set your screen lock password.
9. After you are done, wait patiently and you will be directed to the homescreen of your Tecno device. Congratulations!!! You have successfully bypassed FRP on your mobile phone and are now free to access your phone.
METHOD 2
- Open unlock tool, click on “TECNO” as indicated and select the type or rather model of the tecno device you wish to bypass FRP.
2. Thereafter, select the “Erase FRP” option. Power off your Tecno device and press volume up + volume down keys then connect it to your laptop or PC using a USB cable.
3. Patiently wait for the process to complete successfully and the process will be successful once you see a dialogue such as the one shown below displayed on the right side of your laptop’s or PC screen.
4. Disconnect the USB cable from your device and power it on. Similar to method 1 mentioned above, you will be directed to a screen where you are asked to verify your google account. Go ahead and skip the option and all the unnecessary options and you will be directed to your device’s homescreen.
5. This indicates that the mission was a success and are now free to use your device.
METHOD 3
- Open unlock tool and select “SPREADTRUM” option.
2. Thereafter select the brand and model of your device as indicated in the image below.
3. After you are done, click on “Erase FRP”. Power off your Tecno mobile phone.
4. Hold the volume down key and connect a USB cable to your device via your laptop or PC. Wait for the process to complete and once successful, you should see a dialogue just as the one illustrated in the image below.
5. Disconnect the USB cable from your device and power it on. You will be directed to a page asking you to verify your google account. Go ahead and skip this option and other unnecessary options and afterwards you will be directed to your device’s homescreen.
6. Congratulations!!! You can now access your Tecno phone freely.
