With everything in this world revolving around money, athletes and entertainment figures seem to be the centre of attention, especially the NBA players. Role players and the bench guys in NBA are making up to $12M a year. This is more than athletes in any other sports making similar roles. With role players making multiple millions where does that put the best of the best? Welcome to today’s news where we will be going ahead to discuss the highest paid NBA players in 2020.

  1. Making it at the top of the list is Lebron James making $54.8M from his contract and $80.6M from endorsements. Lebron reportedly has a lifelong deal with Nike that is worth more than $1Billion. His name makes a ridiculous amount of money for Nike alone
  2. Stephen Curry breaks it down at number 2 making $58.9M from his contract and $66M from endorsements. Back in 2015, Steph would sign an extension with Under Armour worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
  3. At the 3rd position we have Kevin Durant who brings in $56M from his contract and $51.3M from endorsements. He has a deal with Nike that is worth over $300M. His KD shoe signature series is one of the most popular in the brand.
  4. With a salary of $56.4M from his contract and $26M from endorsements, Russell Westbrook kicks in at number 4 in the list. Back in 2017 Russell signed a ten year extension with Jordan brand.
  5. James Harden comes in at number 5 making a total of $56M from his contract and $24.8M from endorsements. Back in August of 2015, Harden would sign a deal with adidas that is worth about $200M and he has his own signature shoes with the company too.
  6. At number 6 we have Kyrie Irving who brings in $46.4m from his contract and an endorsement of $29.3M.Kyrie is under a brand deal with Nike that has him bringing in $11M a year.
  7. Ranking in the 7th position in the list is Klay Thompson. Klay makes $69.9M from his NBA contract and a total of $21.9M from endorsements. He has made a name for himself by being one of the best shooters of all times. Back in 2017, Klay would sign a deal with a Chinese brand
  8. The 8th in the list is Chris Paul who makes $68.1M from his contract and $11.7M in endorsements. Al the way back in 2006 Paul would sign a deal with John Brandt that still stands to this day.
  9. Following at number 9 is Gianis Antetokounmpo who makes $67.1M from his contract and $2.3M from endorsements. Giannis earnings will for sure continue increasing over the years as he is said to be one of the greatest of all times.
  10.  At number 10 is Darmian Lillard bringing in $64.2M from his contract and $20.5M in endorsements. Lillard would start off his career with the Portland Trail Blazers and has been with them ever since.
