We selected him as the member of this list because his impact on the court was much bigger and he is, till this day, one of the most popular players who ever played. In the 1996 draft which included legends like Kobe Bryant, Allen was selected first. No one counted on his insane speed and explosive first step. Nobody could stay in front of Allen off the dribble and during his time, he was the most exciting player in the NBA. He led the league in scoring four times and in 2001 he won the MVP award.

Nobody can take away his 181 triple doubles he had in his career which still leads the NBA and his triple double season which was believed to be the record that will never be broken until Russell Westbrook did it in 2016.

- HAKEEM OLAJUWON.
Hakeem was born and raised in Nigeria and he started playing sports as a goalkeeper in football and he only discovered basketball at the age of 15. Four years later he moved to America and the University of Houston. He would then be selected the first overall by the rockets during the draft. Hakeem was just a good of a player and at the time dominant centers were selected over guards. According to many people, Hakeem was the most complete centre of all time and he led the rockets to two back to bak titles in 1994 and 1995. He was a guard and a center’s body and that’s why he was unstoppable. Michal Jordan even said that Hakeem would be his centre when he was asked about his five best players. This for sure tells how good Hakeem was.
- SHAQUILLE O’NEAL.
In 1992, Shaquille was selected first in the draft. Shaq believed he belonged in the league and became an all star as a rookie. In his third season, he was the NBA scoring champion and led the Magic to the 1995 NBA finals. During his time with the Lakers, he became the most dominant player in the league and on his peek he was the most dominant human who ever ran on NBA hardwood. It was hard to say anything bad about the guy
